River Queen Quest: Nashville’s Kayaking Scavenger Hunt
Add a competitive, team-building aspect to our famous Skyline Paddle with the River Queen Quest- Nashville’s only kayaking scavenger hunt! Race against your peers to decipher the final keyword and paddle to the finish line. First place gets a prize, but everyone is a winner in this one-of-a-kind experience in downtown Nashville.
Solve a crossword puzzle of clues based on observations you’ll make along the 3mi route, silly riddles, eco-facts, and more. Each participant gets a cell phone dry bag and a physical or digital version of our scavenger hunt game, plus an RQV crewmember to help guide your group if desired. This 2-hour activity follows our famous Skyline (3mi, 1hr) route but allows extra time to explore upriver sights and complete the puzzle. It is a great option for paddlers of all levels and groups of all sizes.

This unforgettable kayak scavenger hunt takes you on a beautiful paddle of the famous Nashville skyline downtown on the Cumberland River.
Work in teams of 2 or go it alone! This crossword puzzle-based game pushes you to solve riddles and observational clues while you paddle our 3mi kayak route. Unscramble circled letters to decipher the final keyword. An RQV Phone Dry Bag is provided free of charge for all participants so you can choose between a physical or digital version of the puzzle. The first person (or team of 2) to decipher the keyword and reach the end of the kayak route wins a prize!
Following our Skyline route, you will begin at Shelby Park and end downtown with unbelievable views of Nashville’s famous skyline. Along the way, you will learn fun facts about Nashville while gathering answers to trivia questions, solving riddles, bonding with your team, and getting hysterical photos of your Nashville scavenger hunt in action! This adventure includes a River Queen crew member as a river guide if desired!
