COVID-19 “Kurbside” Kayak Rentals: Zero-Contact, Tons of Fun

UPDATED: As of 4/16/20 we are expanding this offer to the public in addition to our Season Pass holders. The information below has been updated to reflect this change.

Hey Nashville, your favorite kayak outfitter- (us, River Queen Voyages) now does take out! Starting today, 4/10/20, we're offering zero-contact curbside kayak rentals until the Safer at Home order is lifted.

HERE'S HOW OUR KURBSIDE KAYAK RENTALS WORK:

Renting daily. $40 per person, free for Season Pass holders.

Enjoy zero-contact kayak rentals in Nashville during COVID-19
  1. Look at the weather forecast and decide you want to go kayaking because it's an awesome, socially distant activity that will make you feel amazing

  2. Reserve your kayak online, or contact us via DMemail, or phone (preferably a day before...but we get that nature calls!) to let us know you want to go

  3. Meet us at our temporary headquarters in East Nashville (location will be in your confirmation email) between 8am and 10am to pick up your SANITIZED lifejacket, paddle, and kayak and load it onto your vehicle (watch our video on How to Transport a Kayak)

  4. Head off to your favorite kayaking spot and enjoy your day

  5. Return your kayak and gear to our temp-quarters between 4pm and 6pm

  6. Smile cause you just had the best day EVER!

Some things to note:

- The Kurbside Kayak rental is free to 2020 Season Pass holders as part of membership. For non-pass holders, rentals are $40 per person payable only via cash onsite or Venmo.

-Pick up is between 8am and 10am, and return is between 4pm and 6pm. There will be a $20 fee for any pick ups or returns outside of these time frames.

- For your safety and the safety of our crew, we cannot help load, unload, or transport you or your rented kayak and equipment. Please plan accordingly. If you do not have ratchet straps or similar materials to secure the kayak, we will have ratchet straps available for $10 a pair.

We will happily give you a list of wonderful local kayaking spots! However, because we cannot provide transportation and the river has a current, we do not recommend kayaking our usual routes unless you can arrange your own transportation back upstream.

While this offer is included under the Season Pass with no additional cost, we will ask to hold a valid credit card as a deposit for the duration of your day rental.
